meetwise reporter - how it works

The projector ist connected to the meetwise reporter, the presentators notebook is not connected directly to the projector, but to the meetwise reporter. The video signal of the presentators notebook is looped through to the projector.

The reporter itself is connected to local network. Remote participants connect to the meetwise reporter embedded webserver via intra- or internetconnections, and can see the live screencontent and are able to interact with it.

How does the presenter use the meetwise reporter?

  1. connect your notebook to the reporter (VGA cable),
  2. activate the VGA output (eg. FN+F7) of your notebook
  3. You're done!

All participants in the meeting room an the remote clients can now view your screen. No questions, no emailing of slides and sheets - simply more effictive meetings.

How does the remote user work with the meetwise reporter?

The participants receive an URL, which leads to the loginpage of the meetwise reporter. This URL can be sent via email manually or sent through die Outlook/Exchange invitation system and of cause simply told to the user via telephone.

The login accepts different login modes, depending on the security mode, setup and needs of the company and user. After the sucessful login the user sees the content shown in the conference room in realtime.

If the presentator has connected the optional USB cable between the reporter and his notebook, the remote participants are able to work together on the presentator computer, using the remote control function (mouse and keyboard input) of the presentators notebook like their own.
